HOW IS IT CORRECT TO DRINK WHITE WINE?
It so happened that in Kazakhstan, white wine is less popular, yielding to the red palm. Not quite deservedly white wine left in the shade, because properly prepared drink has a delicate and elegant taste and a noble golden hue. It can be used not only as a drink, but also as an important ingredient in the preparation of sauces, meat and dessert. But today we are not talking about cooking, but about how to drink and with which to combine white wine.
For the correct use of wine you need the right glass, albeit not a crystal one. The main rule – the glass should be transparent and thin. The best option would be glasses with a high stem in the shape of a tulip. In such vessels the aroma lasts longer, and you will not heat it with your own hand. After all, the optimum temperature for wine is 10-12 degrees. For elite wines + 10-14 degrees. Only if there is room for air in the glass, does the wine reveal its aroma. If the selected glass is small, then it should be filled only by a third, and if wide and high – by a quarter.
Properly selected snack will help to fully reveal the taste of the drink and give true pleasure. After all, not all products contribute to this. The main, and perhaps the only criterion will be – “not to overdo it,” and here it means not only the number, although the measure is also important. Simple dishes should be served to exclusive or collectible wine in order to enjoy every touch of taste, but less famous wines are suitable for unusual and rich snacks. Each wine has its own unique recipe, so the exact list of appetizers is extremely difficult to choose. But there are products that definitely do not spoil the taste of a noble drink: white bread, cheese and fruit (peach, pear, apple). Taboo products include nuts and any food containing vinegar. For dry white wines, seafood (shrimps, mussels and oysters), meat dishes or lean fish will be an excellent addition. Fatty fish, citrus fruits, spicy seasonings and even your favorite chocolate can spoil your taste.
