Useful tips on how to remove stains on clothes from wine, chocolate and greasy food with improvised means

How to deal with stains? Every person asks himself this question with unenviable regularity; after all, putting a stain on clothes is just a matter of seconds, and correcting the situation is not so easy. At the sight of a fresh spot, many try to freeze it as soon as possible, or wipe it off with wet wipes that are on hand. But it is worth remembering that in some cases such actions will not save, but, on the contrary, will aggravate the situation.

Wine stains

Stains from alcohol – a real scourge of parties and feasts. Special difficulties hostesses deliver stains from red wine or champagne. If you are on a holiday and it is impossible to immediately wash the affected thing, just sprinkle the stain with moist salt, and after half an hour, wash the stain with hot water and soap.

Lemon will do as well (citrus fruits are always on the table): rub the stain with lemon juice and add a slice. Wait a moment and lemon juice will eliminate the traces of the wine.

If you are still at home, try to remove the stain with hydrogen peroxide solution (found in each medicine cabinet), and then rinse with cold water. For the solution, take the solution in the proportion of 1 teaspoon of peroxide per cup of water. Be careful so that stains can only be removed from white fabrics.

Domestos is also suitable for a white linen tablecloth, as there are bleaching ingredients in this product.

There is another way. The stain will dissolve, if for half an hour to put the soiled thing in a well-warmed milk. After soaking the thing you need to wash it with soap.

You can treat the wine stain with liquid ammonia, after – send the thing to the laundry with powder or soap.

If the stain of wine is on silk, then it can be removed with a solution of soda (for 1 liter of water, 2 tablespoons of alcohol, 1 spoon of soda and 1 spoon of liquid soap).
Grease stains

The first rule when removing stains is to start from the edge of the spot and move towards the center. Otherwise, there is a risk that the stain will “spread out”, and it will be even more difficult to remove it.

The second is the rule: the sooner action begins to “reanimate” the product, the higher the likelihood of its salvation.

If you put a fat stain on jeans, then immediately blot it with a paper napkin, so you will remove most of the fat. Then – send jeans to the washing machine.

You can also use dishwashing detergent: generously pour any fat-soluble gel onto the stain, leave for half an hour, and then wash it in the usual way.

Fat can also be absorbed by potato gruel (three raw, grated potatoes) applied to the wrong side of the fabric. To gruel acted, leave it for half an hour, and then remove with dried bread crust. After such manipulations, jeans can be washed with powder.

There is an opinion that acetone, turpentine and gasoline can be good helpers in the fight against grease stains. We recommend resorting to these remedies only in extreme cases, as they may damage some tissues. However, if the stain is still too much, apply one of these three products (from the edge of the stain to the center), cover it with a napkin and iron it with a warm iron.

If you put a greasy stain on a cloth that cannot be washed, then use potato flour to save things. Put the item on a white cloth, sprinkle a greasy stain with well-heated flour and leave for 30 minutes. When removing flour, you will see that the stain has disappeared completely or has visibly decreased. If necessary, repeat the procedure.
Chocolate stains

A sweet tooth life is an eternal dilemma between pampering chocolate desserts and not staining your clothes. Moreover, it is very difficult to remove chocolate stains: you can achieve 100% of the result only if the stain is fresh.

Before washing things you need to walk on it with a brush so that during washing chocolate stains do not appear on the villi and dust particles that are on the clothes.

To effectively remove the chocolate stain, you need to brush off the remnants of chocolate, then unscrew the product and continue cleaning from the wrong side. We move from the edge of the spot to its center.
Salt works well with fresh contaminations: coarse fabrics can be rubbed with coarse table salt, and delicate ones can be rubbed with saline.

The stain on cotton things can be removed with the help of milk, economic
