HOW TO CHOOSE WINE TO TABLE?

Wine has long been an integral part of the festive tables. Practically all significant events of our life, meetings with relatives, birthdays, victories and defeats are celebrated with wine. But, unfortunately, it is not always possible to successfully pick up a drink for a particular event, and “make friends” with the dishes on the festive table. To solve this problem is quite simple, using in practice simple tips.

HOW TO CHOOSE WINE TO TABLE FOR EVENT?
Since ancient times there is an unspoken rule: for different celebrations choose a different sort of wine.

It is customary to greet the newlyweds, celebrate the New Year or congratulate the newborn with sparkling wines. Elite branded drinks and red canteens are suitable for celebrating birthdays and promotions. For business dinners suit dry representatives. Ordinary canteens and fortified – a good choice for dinner “for no reason.”

According to the rules of good tone and etiquette, any feast begins with light meals and drinks, gradually increasing the saturation and degree. For the start, weightless white wines or young red wines are suitable, they are replaced by more mature and full-bodied ones. If you plan to serve only one type of wine, then select it with respect to the main dish (meat, fish). By the way, the rule “red wine to red meat, and white to fish” still works.

Another important point is the time of year. On hot summer days, “avoid” saturated red wines, give preference to pink, which combines the best qualities of white and red.

If the festive table will be salads containing vinegar, wine is better reserved for dessert.
